I went to Hill Country Chocolate with friends visiting from out of town. We all had an excellent experience learning about the process of making the different kinds of delicious chocolate. Our friends and family members are definitely going to appreciate their Christmas presents this year!

The chocolates here are simply world class. We had a chocolate tour in Brussels that included the best chocolate makers in the world a few years ago. These chocolates are on par with those. The staff was great and Dan took plenty of time explaining their processes and ingredients. We bought a number of packages for gifts and would advise everyone to make this a part of their Fredericksburg experience.

The chocolate is delicious. We split two tastings and got to try a bunch of different ones so that we could buy some more to take with us. When we first arrived, there was no staff in the front. After a few minutes, someone came out to greet us but didn’t explain anything. No one else showed up to the shop while we were there. Wish they had more business because the quality of the chocolate is great!

Hidden gem in Fredricksberg! Cozy place with top notch service for chocolate tasting. Loved everything about this place. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s traveling to Fredricksberg! They have wine tasting too.

We found this on our way out of town, but wish we had found it sooner in our trip so we could try so much more. Every sample we did get to try was amazing. Customer service was wonderful and so generous to teach us so much about chocolate making and wine pairing. Great experience, great for gifts holiday. We will certainly be back to do the full wine and chocolate pairing.

My family and I stopped in on our way out of town. We were greeted when we walked in and the children were immediately offered a treat. Dan and the young woman behind the counter were extremely friendly and took the time to educate us on the processes taken to make the chocolate. The chocolate itself is out of this world delicious. We each selected several items to take home and will absolutely return on our next trip. Thank you Dan for providing such quality products and for making our group feel like family.

Cute place! We bought an assortment of chocolates. I bought a really interesting selection of flavors. Only part way through it, but really enjoying them! The Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor was spot on with a nice kick to it!

Loved the bottle display at the front entrance.
